Debbie Quacquarini Fazio

Debbie Quacquarini Fazio

Debbie Quacquarini Fazio.. born in Newark Aug. 16th, 1955, attended Ann Street School until I graduated in 1969, attended East Side High School until I graduated in 1973. While at East Side I played basketball for four years and co-captained the team with Alice Sochaski. I also played softball as a shortstop for the Raiders as well as ran track. Upon entering college "Kean" I made varsity my first year in basketball as well as softball. I graduated and am now an eighth grade special education teacher for the Brick Public school system. Although I was never a class officer in high school I have tried to keep in contact with my classmates. I've organized for the past six or seven years a get-together at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Feast. It's really caught on and other classes have been joining in as well. It's a nice night every year- rain or shine!  I've also recently co-organized with Anita Calatrava and Donna Roman a class reunion that was titled "Thirty-Something" since it was our 37th and am now getting a 40th going which is already booked for May of 2013. I would feel honored and privileged to be part of the alumni association as a board member.
